Cutting Edge Services

About Cutting Edge Services

Route 79 leaves Ithaca climbing, and by the time it reaches the ridge toward Slaterville the weather is already a little different — colder, snowier, green a week later in spring. Cutting Edge Services works both ends of that road and both halves of the year: mowing, trimming and edging from the first warm week through the last leaf, then plowing and shoveling once the hill goes white. The name is a promise about a line, and a clean line is exactly what a good mow leaves — turf on one side, mulch on the other, nothing ragged in between. Winter asks for the same exactness in the dark, a driveway opened wall to wall rather than merely passable. Two seasons, one standard.
