About Pollard Lawn Care LLC

Ilion sits low in the Mohawk Valley with the canal running flat along its north edge and the hills climbing straight up behind the village to the south. Fog lies on that water until mid-morning most of the summer, so the lawns here hold their dew late and cut best once the sun clears the ridge. Pollard Lawn Care LLC works that window and the hours after it — mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups on the terraced yards where the ground tilts down toward Steele Creek. Valley grass comes on hard in June and needs a straight schedule to look like anything at all. Kept on one, an Ilion yard in July is a flat green sheet cut into a hillside, with clean lines all the way to the curb.
