About Velasquez Landscaping
November lets go of the maples all at once along the roads running out toward Cold Spring Harbor, and a lawn that was fine on Friday is gone under gold by Monday. Velasquez Landscaping handles that turn in Huntington — leaf removal, fall cleanups, the last mows taken low and clean before the ground goes cold and hard. Earlier in the year it is the steady work: weekly mowing, trimming the tight corners, edging so the beds keep the shape somebody drew for them. There is something quietly good about the final pass of a season, the yard bare and swept and ready to sit out the winter. When the thaw comes, the same hands open it back up.
