About King’s Landscaping

Salt air comes up off Huntington Harbor and settles into the lawns on the slopes above it, and by late May the whole north shore is growing faster than anyone planned for. King's Landscaping is a lawn care business on that ground, mowing, edging and trimming week to week, with cleanups at either end of the season. Yards here sit close together and get looked at constantly: hedges to work around, walks to keep clear of clippings, front lawns that face the street all summer long. Sandy soil and sea wind dry turf quickly, so the cut is kept high enough for the grass to shade its own roots. A clean edge where lawn meets driveway, held all the way to October, is the mark of the work.
