About Buddy's Firewood & Home Services

Cold arrives in Huntington on a north wind that has crossed open water, and you can feel it in the yard hours before the first flake lands. Buddy's Firewood & Home Services is out for those storms — plowing driveways, clearing walks and steps, spreading salt on the slick strip where the drive meets the road. When the ground thaws the truck carries mowers instead of the plow, and the season turns to regular cuts, trimming and clearing the yard of whatever winter knocked loose. Properties out toward Elwood and East Northport run long and wooded, so as much of the job is hauling and tidying as mowing. Either season, the aim is simple: a home you can pull into and a lawn you can walk across.
