Green Island Tree & Lawn Care

About Green Island Tree & Lawn Care

The glacier that built this end of Long Island left stone in the ground, and every spring a few more work their way up through Huntington Station lawns. Green Island Tree & Lawn Care takes the ground as it comes — May mowing on turf that grows faster than anyone expects, trimming, edging, cleanups front and back. Under the tall trees the grass grows thin and patient; out in the open it runs wild by Thursday. Reading the difference is most of the job, and doing it week after week is the rest. What you get for it is a yard that looks tended rather than merely mown.
