New Leaf Tree Service

About New Leaf Tree Service

Hudson was founded in the 1780s by seafaring families from Nantucket and Providence who sailed up the river to start over, and the city still carries itself like a port that wandered inland, a lighthouse standing out in the river and the old houses turned toward the water. Each May the green returns to those blocks in a single rush, the street trees unfolding over brick and clapboard in about a week, and every yard beneath them wakes up wanting care. New Leaf Tree Service brings a tree service's eye to lawn care in Hudson: mowing week in and week out, keeping the trim close and the borders sharp so the grass settles in under the canopy instead of fighting it. That first fresh week of leaves, when everything turns over and begins again, is the season this work is made for. Under new shade, a lawn kept this way makes the whole block look newly begun.
