About Curt's Lawn & Excavating Services, Inc.

East of Hudson the land lifts into the Taconic foothills, and morning comes over them slowly, laying dew across every lawn between the ridge and the river. Curt's Lawn & Excavating Services, Inc. works that hour — mowing while the grass still holds the night's cool, trimming close against stone walls and fence posts, cutting an edge along the walk that stays true once the sun finally clears the hills. Spring cleanups pull winter's litter out of the beds; fall cleanups take the leaves before rain mats them to the turf. There is a plain pleasure in a yard that looks cared for from the road, and that is the thing being made here. The work runs through Hudson and the Columbia County towns around it, one lawn at a time.
