The Yard Barber

About The Yard Barber

There is a reason the name fits: a lawn, like a good haircut, comes down mostly to the edges. The Yard Barber works Horseheads yards on that principle — mowing to an even height, trimming tight around beds and posts, and cutting a line along the walk that stays sharp the whole week out. When autumn shortens the Saturdays and the first heavy fall comes over the hills, the trucks change over to plowing and shoveling, opening drives and paths before the day gets going. Different tool, same instinct: clean lines, nothing left half-done. Horseheads and the nearby towns get both halves of the year.
