PREFERRED LANDSCAPING

About PREFERRED LANDSCAPING

Midsummer afternoons in the village of Horseheads run hot and still, the old maples throwing deep shade across lawns that need cutting all the same. PREFERRED LANDSCAPING works those weeks — mowing, string-trimming around trunks and foundations, edging walkways, and clearing off the clippings so nothing is left behind to yellow the turf. Grass in this valley grows hard through June, slows in the August dry spell, then comes back green with the September rains, and the cutting height follows it. A yard kept all season shows it plainly: even color, tidy borders, nothing shaggy left in the corners. Horseheads and the communities alongside it.
