About Lawas Landscaping

Wind matters here. It rides the ridges west of Horseheads — the same lift the gliders lean on over clear afternoons — and in winter it will take an inch of fresh snow and lay it back across a driveway an hour after the plow left. Lawas Landscaping plans around that: opening drives and walks, salting where ice sets up hardest, returning when the wind insists on a second word. The warm months bring the other half of the work, mowing and trimming and edging on a schedule the grass sets rather than the calendar. A good day ends with a property that plainly looks tended — sharp lines in July, bare pavement in January. Horseheads and its neighboring towns, all the way around the year.
