About Crooker Landscaping Inc

The old maples along the Horseheads village streets throw enough July shade that a single yard can go two directions at once. Crooker Landscaping Inc mows, trims and edges those properties, from the tight lots near Hanover Square to the wider ones out toward the flats, with cleanups at each end of the growing season. Chemung County summers turn hot and dry in long stretches, so the cut runs a little tall to hold moisture and the pattern gets changed so the turf never learns to lean. Trimming is what finishes it, around fences, hydrants and the base of every tree. A lawn that reads even from the sidewalk in mid-August took some deciding to get there.
