Americas Southern Tier Tree Service

About Americas Southern Tier Tree Service

South of the village the land tips down toward the Chemung, and on a July afternoon you can watch a thunderhead stack up over the Newtown hills and know the evening is already spoken for. Americas Southern Tier Tree Service tries to work ahead of that weather: tree trimming that takes the sail out of a wide canopy, pruning that brings dead limbs down on purpose rather than by surprise. Tree removal is for the trees the river bottom has undercut and the ash that the borers have finished off. Afterward, storm damage cleanup is the part the neighbors remember, the drive opened, the fence freed, the trunk cut to stove length and stacked out of the way. Then the ridges go quiet and the river takes the last of the light.
