About Leon Lacy, Inc.

Hornell is a railroad town and keeps railroad hours, with people heading to work in the dark at both ends of a December day. Leon Lacy, Inc. plows to that clock — lots opened, drives cut, walkways cleared, salt and sand down before the first cars roll in off the valley roads. A Canisteo valley storm can lay down more overnight than the forecast promised, so routes run in repeated passes rather than one heroic sweep, keeping surfaces workable while it is still falling. Banks get pushed to the edges where they belong, leaving room for whatever the week brings next. The result nobody comments on — a clear lot, an ordinary morning — is the one to aim for.
