Hornell came by the name Maple City honestly — whole streets off Broadway are roofed in them, green and heavy all summer, bare and architectural by December. GreenWay works under those branches in both conditions: mowing, trimming and edging while the grass is running, then plowing drives and opening walks once the valley turns over to winter. Autumn is the hinge, all leaves and cleanups, and it decides how good a lawn looks on the far side of the snow. The satisfying part is the continuity — the property that was neat in September is the one plowed clean in January, same hands, same standard. Hornell yards are steep, narrow and particular, which is exactly what makes them interesting to keep.
