About Caward Tree & Landscaping

Hornell folds into its valley with the hills close on both sides, and once the storms start coming through, the snow banks up between them and stays. Caward Tree & Landscaping turns to snow removal for that long stretch of the year — plowing drives, opening walks, clearing the packed ridge the town plow leaves at the end of them. Streets here climb off the flats quickly, and a driveway on a grade is a different problem at six in the morning than it looks at noon. The Maple City goes very quiet after a night of it, and a cleared drive before the first cars is a small gift to the people who live there. Winter work for Hornell and the towns tucked around it.
