Galvez Tree Service

About Galvez Tree Service

The first train out of Patterson leaves in the dark, and the fields along Route 311 keep their mist until the sun clears the hills. Galvez Tree Service starts about then — pruning a row of maples at a farmhouse, tree trimming to lift a canopy off a barn roof, tree removal where a dead ash stands over a paddock and cannot be left standing another season. This corner of Putnam County gets its share of wind coming down the Haviland Hollow valley, and storm damage cleanup afterward is straightforward and quick: open the drive, take down what is hanging, chip it, sweep the gravel back into line. Neighbors over in Brewster and Pawling ask for the same. The good part is the drive home past a yard finished that morning, wide open and bright.
