Maier Tree Service

About Maier Tree Service

Henrietta keeps its old lines under the new ones: the Erie Canal's slow green water, the Lehigh Valley rail bed turned to a walking trail, hedgerow maples that were set along field boundaries long before the fields became neighborhoods. Maier Tree Service gets to those big trees in September, when the light comes in low over corn stubble and the first color shows in the tops. Tree trimming lifts a canopy back off a garage; pruning takes the broken and the crossing out so the good wood has somewhere to go. When a silver maple has hollowed and hangs over a bedroom, tree removal is the honest answer, and the ground underneath is left flush and raked smooth. Storm damage cleanup covers the rest of the calendar, especially the summer downbursts that cross flat country with nothing at all to slow them.
