Green Forest Landscape

About Green Forest Landscape

Not every lawn in Hempstead gets a full day of sun. Along the older streets the London planes and silver maples throw shade from breakfast to dusk, and grass under that canopy needs a different hand than the wide-open yards do. Green Forest Landscape works those shaded properties with the cut set high, seed chosen for low light, and beds mulched dark so the green reads against it. Shrubs under the drip line get shaped rather than flattened, roots are left room, and leaves are cleared before they mat down and smother what is left. The result is a cool, kept, woodsy sort of front yard — a small forest floor that somebody clearly loves.
