Lawn Grass Painting

About Lawn Grass Painting

By August the flat, sandy ground under Hempstead has given up most of its water, and lawns go the color of straw weeks before anyone is ready for it. Lawn Grass Painting answers that with turf colorant — dormant or thinned-out grass brushed back to a deep, even green — while the ordinary work carries on underneath it: mowing on schedule, trimming, edges cut to the walk, feeding, and cleanups when the season turns. Nothing on this old outwash plain holds moisture for long, which is why a yard three blocks off Fulton Avenue can pale while the one under the maples stays fine. The satisfaction is in the hard noon light, when a painted lawn reads as green as June and the border along the driveway is one clean, unbroken line. Homes and small properties across Hempstead and the villages set beside it.
