About Complete Landscaping & Masonry

Hempstead keeps its old stonework in plain view — the churchyard at St. George's, brick stoops, bluestone walks gone soft at the corners from long use. Complete Landscaping & Masonry works in both of the village's materials, the green one and the hard one, and the pleasure is in how they meet. A patio laid level, a step that lands where a foot expects it, a wall that holds back a grade without looking like it is trying: that is the frame. Inside it go the beds, the plantings and the lawn, mowed and edged so the seam between stone and grass stays sharp all summer. Autumn light does the finished work a favor, raking low across a walk that will still be true a long time from now.
