The hamlets of Hebron — West Hebron, East Hebron, Belcher — sit at crossroads where the fields come right up to the dooryards. The year turns hard in this country: mud in April, the smell of hay and fast grass by June, then the first serious snow that shuts the hills down for months. LaFond Landscaping & Excavation follows all of it, mowing, trimming and edging through the green season, clearing beds and leaves in fall, then plowing drives and lanes and spreading sand once winter takes the roads. Working the same properties in both weathers means knowing where the culvert sits before the plow finds it. A lawn cut level in July and bare gravel in January come out of the same habit of turning up.
