About Viking Cives Inc

Harrisville sits where the Oswegatchie comes down out of the Adirondack foothills and the Tug Hill snow belt takes over the sky. Winter here is less an event than a permanent address — lake-effect bands off Ontario that can fill a driveway twice before lunch. Viking Cives Inc plows, shovels and treats surfaces through all of it, keeping drives, walks and lots open in a village where the banks along the road climb past your mirrors. When a squall finally lifts and the pines let go of their load, a cleared lot up here is something to stand and look at. In this corner of the North Country, moving snow is simply how a place stays connected to itself.
