About Don Snow Trucking Inc

Snow in the Susquehanna hills arrives quietly and stays, filling in the long drives above Harpursville while the valley road below is still only wet. Snow removal is the work: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways, and putting down salt or sand on the grades where a stopped car will not start again. Hill country means steep approaches, blind curves and a lot of ground between mailboxes, so a route out toward Nineveh and Ouaquaga takes real hours. The reward is a hilltop drive open at six in the morning with the plow already two farms down the road. Winter here does not negotiate, so somebody has to be out in it.
