Hanover Local Snow Removal

About Hanover Local Snow Removal

When the wind swings northwest and picks up its water crossing the lake, Hanover can get buried while the next town over stays dry. Snow removal in a place like this is measured in feet rather than inches, which means plowing more than once a storm and never letting a lot get away from you. Driveways, parking areas and walkways get cleared, and salt or sand goes down where drifting and ice make a mess of an entrance. Route 5 may be moving, but a driveway does not clear itself — that part takes a truck and somebody willing to be out in it. Coming back a second and a third time is simply what this shoreline asks.
