About Arbortech Tree Service

Halfmoon lies in the crook between two rivers, and down at Crescent the Mohawk goes wide and slow past the old canal line. Arbortech Tree Service works the neighborhoods that filled in the farm ground here, where the trees are a mix — hedgerow veterans left standing when the streets went in, and young stock set out along the new curbs. Pruning those two groups is nearly opposite work, and doing each one correctly is the whole point. Tree removal takes out the storm-split silver maple that was a hedgerow tree long before it was ever a backyard tree. Trimming and storm damage cleanup carry the rest of the calendar, with the river wind reliably supplying the work.
