Buddy's Tree Service

About Buddy's Tree Service

At Hadley the Sacandaga pours into the Hudson through the rock chute at Rockwell Falls, with the old bow bridge arched over the narrows and Hadley Mountain standing up behind the whole scene. Buddy's Tree Service works the camps, the river lots and the road-end houses of that Adirondack foothill country. White pine grows tall and top-heavy here, so tree removal is often a question of weight — where it sits now, and where it intends to go. Pruning thins what has died back in the high crowns, while trimming takes the leaners off a drive and gives a cabin roof some sky. After a heavy wet snow bends the birches double and the hemlocks let go, storm damage cleanup makes the road passable and the woodpile taller.
