About Andora Lawn Care

Out on the lawns around Greenwich, the grass stays green deep into the evening and the June light hangs on until almost nine o'clock. Andora Lawn Care works that ground, where most of the yards they tend sit only blocks apart from one another. The work is patient and mostly invisible: fertilizer timed to the turf's own calendar, weed control walked lane by lane, cores pulled from packed soil so rain finally has somewhere to go. When a lawn has thinned past helping, the seed renovation plan starts it over from bare ground, and irrigation lines are set and tuned so no corner goes brown in August. Come evening, when the mosquitoes lift off the hedges, they treat for those too, traditional or organic, so a backyard stays a backyard after dinner.
