About Green Gardens Landscaping Care Corp

East of the village the North Fork flattens into farm lanes and vine rows, and fog off Peconic Bay lies over the fields until the sun burns it back around nine. Green Gardens Landscaping Care Corp is out in that hour, mowing while the grass is still cool, edging the drives, trimming the fence lines that separate one green rectangle from the next. Summer here runs long and bright and hard on turf, so the cutting height goes up in August and the clippings stay down to hold what moisture there is. Fall cleanups take the leaves and the season's clutter off the lawn, and in spring the mulch goes back in level with the walk. A yard on this fork ought to look like it belongs to the farmland around it — open, tidy, unfussy.
