Saturday morning in July has a sound in Glens Falls: mowers going somewhere on Bay Street, a dog, somebody's sprinkler ticking around. Mow 'N' Goers is part of that sound from May into October — mowing, string trimming, edging, and the seasonal cleanups that open and close the growing months. The trick to a route is rhythm; lawns cut on the same day every week never look like they had to be rescued. Short grass, a sharp line along the drive, clippings blown off the walk before the truck pulls away. Nothing complicated, just done, and then done again.
