About Trap Kings

Late March in the Orchard, and Glen Cove starts shaking winter off — sand at the curbs, matted grass, the first warm afternoon that smells like soil again. Trap Kings opens the season right there: cleanups that clear out the winter litter, then mowing, trimming and edging on a schedule that holds all the way to leaf-fall. There is something to that first cut of the year, the way a tired lawn stands back up within a week of it. Yards here sit on old ground under old trees, so height and timing matter more than horsepower. By the Fourth of July the difference is obvious from the curb — even turf, defined beds, and a border you could follow with your eye.
