About Countryside Cleanup, LLC

Ghent lies open between Kinderhook Creek and the Taconic ridgeline, and when a storm comes over those hills the snow lands here in earnest and keeps on landing. Countryside Cleanup, LLC runs the plow through it — driveways opened, turnarounds pushed back wide, walkways cleared down to the surface before the day starts. There is a specific satisfaction to a January morning done properly: black pavement, banked white shoulders, headlights pulling out on time. Farm lanes and village drives alike, from the first flakes until the sound of the plow fades off up the road. Serving Ghent, Chatham, Claverack, Kinderhook, Stockport and the nearby Columbia County towns.
