About Zellner Landscaping & Excavation

Spring comes late and wet to German's high ground, snowmelt pouring off the ridges into every brook while the woods hold patches of white well into April. Zellner Landscaping & Excavation tackles the lawn side of that thaw, raking out matted grass and winter debris, then bringing yards back to life under the mower. By the time trilliums open on the forest floor, the first yards up here are cut and edged, green and level against the still-bare woods. The edges are drawn sharp and the clippings cleared, and the result reads like a fresh page for the summer ahead. There is something hopeful about a raked-out yard in country like this, a clear sign that the long Chenango winter has finally loosened its grip.
