About Mahns Lawn & Landscape

The Erie Canal swings past the south side of Gates on its way into Rochester, and in September the poplars along it throw long shade across nearby lawns by four in the afternoon. Mahns Lawn & Landscape mows into that light — cutting, trimming, edging, and running the cleanups that open spring and close autumn. Monroe County grass grows through a long, damp season, and keeping it even is a matter of a schedule rather than a rescue mission in July. The pleasure of the job is a yard finished properly: stripes running true, walkways blown clear, beds edged so the line reads from the street. That is the standing arrangement across Gates, Chili, Greece and the streets between.
