About Leviathan Lawn & Land

Van Campen Creek cuts down through Friendship between hills that keep their shape all year, and up in this corner of Allegany County the ground is generous and the growing season is short enough to matter. Leviathan Lawn & Land takes on the big of it — wide yards, sloped lots, rough ground that needs a real machine and a real plan — mowing it down to something even and open. Trimming closes the gaps along stone, post and treeline, and cleanups haul off what the hills drop in spring and autumn. There is honest pleasure in standing at the top of a finished slope on a June evening and seeing the whole thing lie flat and green in the light. Friendship and the nearby Southern Tier towns can hand over the acreage and get it back tamed.
