About Central Paving

Snow reaches Frankfort in bands that arrive out of the west, and it can turn a clear Mohawk Valley morning white before the coffee finishes brewing. Central Paving takes the snow work here — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, stacking piles well out of the way, and putting down salt and sand where slope and shade keep ice hanging around. The measure of a good clearing is the storm after it: if the first push went back far enough, there is still somewhere to put the next one. Nothing about two in the morning is glamorous, and it is still satisfying to leave behind a lot you would park in yourself. Frankfort, Ilion and Mohawk all get the same night's attention.
