About Putnam and Sons Lawn Care LLC.

The Otsquago comes down out of the hills and meets the Mohawk at Fort Plain, and the whole village tilts gently toward that meeting. Putnam and Sons Lawn Care keeps grass on those slopes and on the flat streets below — weekly mowing, trimming, edged walks and curbs, mulched beds, and the cleanups that start and end the growing season. On a hillside lot the mowing lines have to be earned; done properly they lie across the yard like combed hair and hold that look until the next visit. Late-summer evenings here turn the ridges above town gold, and a finished lawn catches every bit of it. Around Fort Plain, Nelliston and Canajoharie, the steady routine is the whole idea.
