Independent Lawn Service

About Independent Lawn Service

Farmingdale mornings in June smell of cut grass and of the pines out toward Bethpage State Park, and the mowers are running before Main Street is fully awake. Independent Lawn Service keeps lawns here on a steady cycle — mowing, trimming, edging along walks and driveway aprons, and clearing the clippings so the curb looks as good as the yard does. Long Island's sandy ground grows fast after a summer rain and asks to be kept up with rather than caught up to. There is pride in a straight line beside a bluestone path and in grass that stops exactly where it should. The route runs through Farmingdale and out to South Farmingdale, Bethpage and Massapequa Park.
