Aratura Snow & Ice Management

About Aratura Snow & Ice Management

River fog and snow are old neighbors in Endicott, and some nights the Susquehanna gives up a mist that freezes onto everything it touches. Aratura Snow & Ice Management is out in that hour, plowing before the streets fill, breaking ice loose at the foot of driveways, spreading salt where meltwater always runs and always sets up again. Southern Tier hills hold weather longer than any forecast admits, so the route gets run twice more often than not. What the town sees at seven in the morning is open pavement and a clean set of steps, which is exactly the intention. Nobody applauds it, and it matters every single time.
