About Creative Snow Plowing & Property Maintenance & Sweeping

Winter arrives in Elmont on a wind that has crossed the flat South Shore plain with nothing to slow it down. Creative Snow Plowing & Property Maintenance & Sweeping works those hours — blade down on driveways off Hempstead Turnpike, shovels along the walks of the side streets near Belmont Park, salt laid where the melt will refreeze by morning. There is a particular satisfaction in a lot pushed back to bare blacktop while the traffic lights are still blinking yellow. By the time the first cars roll out toward the Cross Island, the pavement is dark and open and nobody has to think about it. It is plain work, done in the cold, and the neighborhood moves because of it.
