About Sevens landscaping

South of town the Chemung takes its slow turn toward the Susquehanna, and the flats that river built are where most of Elmira's lawns actually live. Sevens landscaping keeps them: weekly mowing, trimming and edging, spring cleanups that pull winter's mat off the grass, fall ones that stay ahead of the leaves. River-bottom ground grows hard and fast in a wet year, and it wants a steady hand rather than a heroic one. Same day, same route, week after week — that rhythm is what a good lawn is actually made of. Show up seven days running and you would still find something worth tidying.
