About Orchard Hill Landscaping

April comes up the south hills above Elmira in patches — one warm slope greening while the shaded fold beside it is still brown and waiting. Orchard Hill Landscaping starts its year in that in-between, waking lawns out of the valley's long gray with mowing, trimming and cleanups that carry the winter litter off. Chemung County ground holds spring rain, so the first cuts are careful ones, taken when the soil will forgive a tire. Do it right in April and the rest of the summer runs easier: even color, tight edges, a lawn that looks like someone is paying attention. That is exactly what this work is for.
