Eden sits in the belt where Lake Erie throws its snow, and a band can set up overnight and simply not quit until morning. BladeRunners Lawn & Landscape, LLC runs the plow through those hours, opening drives and lots, salting the ice that forms behind the blade, then coming back once the wind has refilled the same lane. By May the trucks trade steel for mowers and the work is all grass — cutting, edging, cleanups that clear a winter's worth of sand and broken stalk. Two hard seasons, each met on its own terms. A cleared drive at dawn in February is every bit as good a result as a striped lawn in June.
