About Bloom Contractors LLC

Winter comes into East Rochester off Lake Ontario, hauling squall lines over Irondequoit Creek and dropping them on the brick blocks of the old Despatch village. Bloom Contractors LLC answers those nights: plow down, headlights on the canal-side streets, driveways opened and walks cut to the steps before the first porch light goes on. Lake-effect does not arrive politely — it comes in bands, one behind another — so the work is measured in return trips as much as in inches. To stand at the curb afterward and see a drive squared off at the apron, no ridge left across the sidewalk, is its own quiet reward. Snow removal for East Rochester homes and the streets around the Piano Works, all winter long.
