LONG ISLAND SNOW PLOWING

About LONG ISLAND SNOW PLOWING

East Northport sits up on the old glacial hills, and that little bit of elevation is enough to turn a Suffolk rain into something that sticks. LONG ISLAND SNOW PLOWING keeps the hours nobody wants — two in the morning, headlights and falling white, the blade pushing a clean shoulder down a driveway off Larkfield Road. By the time the first train out of the village station is loading, the walk is cleared to the concrete and the mailbox has room to breathe. Plowing, driveway and path clearing, storm after storm: unglamorous work, done so a household's Tuesday goes ahead exactly as planned. The pride is in the straight line of a plowed edge, and in a street where every drive is open before sunrise.
