About Mark Daniels Tree Service

Out toward Accabonac Harbor the ground goes sandy and the woods go scrubby — pitch pine, black oak, the kind of stand that grows crooked into the prevailing wind. Mark Daniels Tree Service takes its days out there and back through the Springs, where houses sit in the trees rather than on lawns. Tree removal on a wooded lot is a matter of choosing: which trunk comes out so that the three around it can finally widen. Trimming lifts the crowns off a roof, and pruning clears the drip line back from a shingled wall before it goes soft. After a hard blow off Gardiners Bay, storm damage cleanup means a morning of stacked limbs and a yard handed back by noon.
