About Landscape Details

The hour before sunset on the Sag Harbor Turnpike turns every lawn gold down one side and leaves the other in shadow, and that is the light that shows what a finish is worth. Landscape Details lives in the last ten percent: the edge run true along the walk, the trim behind the fence post, the clippings collected instead of scattered across the drive. Through the East Hampton growing season that means weekly mowing and cleanups; when the cold arrives it means plowing drives, clearing the paths to the door, and treating ice at the steps. Different season, same instinct, which is that nothing gets left half-done. A property looked after this way announces itself from the road.
