About ACG Landscaping Services

Durhamville grew up along the water — the old canal line running east and west, Oneida Creek slipping north through flat, generous ground. ACG Landscaping Services cuts grass in that country, where a yard can run wide and open and the wind comes across it unbroken from the direction of the lake. Weekly mowing, trimming around posts and outbuildings, edges cut clean along the drive, mulch in the beds and shrubs kept clear of the siding — the work of keeping a big open lot from reverting to field. Spring cleanup pulls winter out of the fence lines; fall cleanup takes the leaves before wet weather pins them down. On a July evening with the mowing finished, the whole place goes quiet and green all the way to the treeline.
