At noon in high summer the state forest at Featherstonhaugh is a solid wall of green, and the lawns that back up to it fight for every hour of sun they get. Grass Guardians Landscaping mows, trims and edges those yards, works the shaded margins carefully, and clears them out in spring and again in the fall. Grass under big trees needs a taller cut and a lighter touch, and it repays both by holding on where thin turf would simply give up. Nothing looks better than a shaded lawn still even and green in the third week of July. It takes noticing, which is most of this job anyway.
