About Gardener Online Community

Delhi in April is mud, and then almost overnight it is the first mow of the year with everybody's windows open to hear it. Gardener Online Community works the village blocks around the courthouse square and out toward the hill, mowing, trimming and clearing the long list of things a Catskill winter leaves lying in a yard. Sand gets raked off the lawn edges, beds are opened and mulched, and the season's first cut goes low enough to look deliberate. Through summer it settles into a weekly rhythm; by fall the street maples make leaf work into honest labor. A Delhi yard kept up all season quietly makes the rest of the block look good too.
